In July I went to NC for a vacation. On my way back through TN I saw these beautiful mountains with the morning fog. I had to stop and take pictures.

This is a picture of my mom with her roses. She was the same age in this picture that I am now, 60. It just doesn't seem possible.

These are pictures of my mom and dad, both born and lived their whole lives in the hills of WV. Daddy always raised chickens where ever he lived. The other pictures is about 1932, when they were in their 20's.

I took these pictures when I visited Grandview State Park here in WV. I've visited that park off and on ever since I can remember.

HEY! I used to live in a cabin on Hendersonville Rd!
I was very near the Parkway entrance there at the Baptist church.
My cabin is now a turn lane, :(
But few people know this, Pensacola is actually the rainiest city in the nation. WA avgs 45-55 a year in different places, our average rainfall here is 64 INCHES a year! The wooden fences last only a few years, and where ever you go you see them all warped and wobbly from the rain fall!
