Wildlife in our yard 15 Replies

We had a goanna and a red belly black snake in our yard last Saturday and had to deal with them as we were getting ready to go to a wedding.  They both got away.  I hope the snake isn't lurking.

Same down here Heather, garden is waterlogged and weight of rain on Tibouchina ripped huge branch, full of blooms off onto washing line! Back in gum boots again and chickens now have their own Olympic sized pool at the end of the run!  I planted seedlings at beginning of week, they will be washed away before long!  Yet we have just had almost a month with no rain and it seems to have all come down in one day....

More rain.  It's either a feast or a famine.

I wish Lyn, I was told the garden had close to 5 mil on it and some plantings of rare and unusual plants

its worth a look before it sells.

We all have Canons in the family. Mine is 6 yrs old and I still love it to bits, I've taken thousands of pics with it, mainly garden snaps of course!
Just arrived back from NZ this morning, went across for long weekend. They have had dreadful wet summer there too! However sun shone for wedding we attended. Will try to post some garden pics later that I took whilst over there.
