how about a group about the different birds that come into our gardens?
Latest Activity: Mar 17
Marlene, your bird is a female red winged blackbird...so different from the male but still a very pretty bird. Looks like the photo was taken in a grassy pond like area which is where they nest.
That sounds great Randy going for drives looking it's all in the excitement of not knowing what you will see !! enjoy your trips stay safe.
Your right Lillian I'll try and keep my eyes on the road and not drive in the direction I'm looking if my gaze should stray. I have been driving a lot of the backroads so I can stop in the middle of the road and just watch. Sometimes the drives are longer then they should be but that's the fun of being retired.
Randy sounds like you look up and about and on the lines instead of straight ahead LOL very easy to do hey if you are a keen bird enthusiast. A GS friend sent me the birdhouse I just love it too!!!! I have painted the post of house pink and added broms up the pole this is a before shot.
Very handsome bird Marlene, love the birdhouse LIllian! The activity in the garden has slowed down but I see so many birds as I drive through the country with both hands on the wheel.
Great pics everyone well done Cathy with adding to the pond to make it more friendly. I would love to have a pond but the dog would love it too much too!!! Love the markings on that bird Marlene. We have had lots of rainbow lorikeets feeding with the wet weather other than that not much happening here just the normal visitors.I did add a birdhouse to the garden that a friend sent me.
Great pictures of the American Robin and the House Sparrow, Susan! Both of them look like they have found a home!
Sweet photos Susan!
And this nice lady thinks she owns our yard!
