how about a group about the different birds that come into our gardens?
Latest Activity: Feb 18
thanks ladies. not exactly a bird photo but did want to share it. The 3-D look is part layering and also I painted on the back side of the glass. Just pounced different green paints. I like to see thru sometimes but for this one I saw green on the back...my windows speak to me!!!
Beth, that is beautiful.
Beth...Everything looks like it is layered or 3- D, is that from layering the paint colors or just using differen't colors?
So nice and colorful...you did a great job on it Beth...
Sharon, here are your coneflowers, your zinnias and my hydrangeas...I have it sitting on my deck and can move it around. love it...
Beth...that would be great to see your painting on the window. I like that the zinnias get larger and more beautiful every day.
I have a lady that is painting my cardinal on the April 10 ice storm we had, I hope I get to see a picture of that.
Sharon, I meant stand ground with the redwinged blackbird...you are absolutely right...my jays sound the alarm but stay out of the hawks way for sure.....just gorgeous shot of the gold finch. I just love em. I've used a couple of your photos to inspire me to paint coneflowers and zinnias on an old window...I'll post once it is finished.
Jays don't stand their ground here against a Coopers hawk...everyone gets dead quiet except the silly little chickadee..I always know when a hawk is here when it is so quiet and no one flying by the feeders.
American gold finch
