Biblical Garden
Hi all, I would love a garden filled with plants from the bible. Any suggestions? Fig trees and grape vines are on my list! God Bless.

Papyrus is in the Bible, made writing tablets. I have them in my yard they love water or dirt, they add a little wimmzie to every garden, they are fun to put in a cut arrangement also. Blessings

IN THE BOOK OF GENESIS, THE BIBLE MENTIONS ALL THE HERBS, AND ALL THE PLANTS, THEREFORE WE ALL ARE GROWING SO CALLED "BIBLICAL GARDENS." JUST GROW SOMETHING, AND YOU'LL HAVE A BIBLICAL GARDEN:)

when i get home i will try to rember that i have a recipe for Elishas or Elijahs Bread it is made with beans . what has that to do with this . The flour beans all it had to come from a garden . Now some plants are easy to rember from the bible . But He is called the lilly of the valley so they would be one, and I just saw in one of my catalogs a white lilly they call sunday gloves they are pure white and the stamens are pure white . They reminded me of the purity of Christ .

Jesus is the lilly of the valley . The rose of Sharon . As Far as Biblical the following ones are not but Josephs Coat is a rose that changes color . And then there is the peace rose . And there is a new lilly called sunday gloves even the stamen is white . Then there is 128th Psalm verse 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thy house : and thy children shall be like Olive plants round about thy table .
