Now I just have to get it down pat as to when to take starts from what. The herbs flower on me so fast, I can't keep up. But first I need to get back out there and finish up my beds and get more seed planted. I have boxes of envelopes and jars of seeds I saved for yrs. So many chive and garlic chive seeds, pot marigold, love in a mist, blanket flower, really old morning glory, moss rose and lots more, just can't not save them, need to down size them too. Of course always buying more new seeds too.

Nice little cutting, Cindy, it looks like it's off to a good start.  It's definitely a philodendron, good ol' Philodendron scandens, the CLASSIC houseplant!  I love it and have absolutely zero excuse for not growing on myself, LOL.  Keep us posted on how it does for you.  It's wonderful that it's from your mom's plant.  Great job!  Take care all!

Cindy, I think I have the same small little guy, leaves don't get much bigger than an inch. Mine is picky, It's from my mom and she passed in 2004. It is growing in a bottle with water and when I tried taking a piece to plant in soil it just shriveled and died so this last piece I'm just letting it be.

Robin I can relate every yr. for me it is something new keeping me from having fun and ever getting to just sit awhile to watch my garden grow. Everyone else always wants me to do their stuff, last yr. I was digging trenches and setting up a watering system after dragging hoses for way too many yrs. Put in a paver patio yr. or two before, last yr also moving Pat and Helen to asst. living after taking almost a yr 7yrs before that to move all their stuff across town. I hurt my right arm the first time I moved them now my left arm has been killing me for about 4 months now.

I'm hope'n that my older seeds '06 do something. I was able to purchase some cool seeds off of ebay back then. But Jon got really sick and from 07 until 09 it's a hospital blur, in 10 we were dismatling a friends gardens and bringing them here, and 11 was planting what we got in '10 and building the new patio. So 6 yrs later I get to really play with my seeds...lol
