thanks Elizabeth...I don't actually know the real name of that plant.  a member of the sedum family and succulent?  it comes back every year anywhere it drops.  it has a nice stalk whenit blooms with tiny yellow flowers.  nice plant and it takes off so easily.  I have it all over the yard in various pots, etc.  Someone else may know the name of it. I have strawberry geraniums all over as well, they also will cover and grow wherever they can put their little roots.  I love them.  There is one in the firepit in a strawberry jar.  You can see where the baby has started right next to the jar in the sand.

Beth, I love all your pics, the top pic has some greenry in the pot that I need to know the name of,it looks just like some ground cover a friend (now deceased) gave me sometime ago and I never knew what it was. Can you tell me the name. I am in love with your gnome gardens.

Just lookin' in for a minute.. I don't have time for two forums really and my family and extended family are all on FB.  Anyway, as always what I see here is fun!  Arden, wish you could've been with me this morning.  Went to a garage sale and they had all kinds of items you could use in fairy gardening.. containers.  I've gotten wheelbarrows, dishpans, license plates (for birdhouses).. it's a fun place to go every wk'nd after Independence Day.  Beth, I get to see you over at FB.. always a treat.  You guys, keep up the good work!

thanks.  I made the little firepit in the gnome village.  Just grouted some rocks to a little pewter dish I had.  I got chastised by a friend about using a pewter dish.  She said it was old...I said just the way the gnomes like it....

Wow! Arden, I just love the village, so creative.  It's the details and the little surprises that just pull things together. Beth your fire pit, what a great find!  The imagination and creativity of you ladies is inspiring.  " One man's trash is another woman's treasure, just paraphrasing.  Recycling made FUN.

thanks Arden...don't forget to punch some holes in any container if they don't already have some or make sure it is in a covered area.  I made that mistake once and had to redo it cause it flooded and what a mess.  Yes indeed having so much fun!!

Beth, I love the fire pit idea. I'm always on the hunt for large shallow containers for my gardens, Your painting talents (gnome village sign, flower rocks etc) add the perfect touch. Aren't we having fun!!!
