But last year in April we had some bad storms and high winds, so we take nothing for granted in Ireland at any time of year!

Yes Arden, it is really nice to have a different project to do, and the front garden really needed to be sorted anyway!

Well it's up and down, but today was cloudy but short sleeve weather out the garden :) 'Twas this in tunnel yesterday :)

What temperatures are you having right now, Catherine?  Here it's been a mild winter but it won't be anytime soon for the fairies to go back to their summer fantasyland here.  Probably April or May..

Catherine, Sounds like you're having all the fun. It will be fun to see your fairy garden evolve. Enjoy.

You are lucky that you are starting with a clean slate. :)

I am going to put the ground cover all over and then the fresh topsoil, cut holes in it to plant primroses now. Then other plants like dwarf sunflowers, trailing lobelia, a little miniature acer for a tree,I have a "stool" and "table" that hubby will fix up for me too, little mugs I found yesterday.I am getting excited now :)

Catherine, for my gravel path I just cut up the bag from the top soil we bought and laid the gravel on that.
