Patti, do you live in the higher elevation? We are reeling here with record setting temps this month.. not just here and there but day after day! It's 81º right now where it is usually 50 more or less. Been buying stuff the last couple of months but since March can be so volatile I'm waiting awhile to make sure spring is genuinely here!
Comment by Patti Sherwood on March 19, 2012 at 3:43pm We had a last day of winter snow this morning. My fairies are safe and warm in cartons in my craft room.
Comment by Robin (N.IL zone 5) on March 19, 2012 at 3:15pm I picked up a new mini gnome for my lil garden. I picked him up from Target last night. I rarely pay full price for garden things but he was holding a frog and wearing a purple shirt so it was fate that I have him. When I get him move into his new place I will post a picture :)
Comment by Arden on March 19, 2012 at 9:38am Carol, I found a beautiful tiny $ store Fairy yesterday and a larger one at a local pharmacy (1/2 price too!!!). Still too early to get them in the garden in my area.
Comment by Patti Sherwood on March 19, 2012 at 9:16am Hi Carol. . . $ store and thrift stores have funded my fairy fever from the beginning. Even my grandchildren love the thrift store hunt for fairy houses, stones, miniatures and fairies. Have fun.
