Hi Sharon,

Visiting Fairchild and several other botanical sites in S.FLA is something I really hope to get to this Fall.  Maybe in the November time frame.

The garden is looking sad even with all the rain. My roses need to be fertilized but has been too hot to do it.

Hi David .. planted mine three years ago but located them last year so they are not as far along as yours.  There are still some runners rooted in the original spot and someday, will get around to moving those too.  I like your "teepee" tressis idea.  I put up two 4x4 8 foot posts 10 feet apart and ran some wire between them.  Maybe next year they will be as nice as yours!

... I was guessing an edulis but could not see the stem in the pic.  We've got an edulis "multi-color" in the garden at Leu in Orlando.  Yours fits very nicely in your landscape!

"I hear you, Lynda, regarding getting out in the garden whenever you can. Sorry to hear you are dealing with some health issues but it looks like you don't let that get in the way of creating beauty in your garden."

"Charlotte, I do feel blessed that my husband shares my passion for gardening. Your harsh climate in Oklahoma does make it especially challenging for you, but I'm guessing it also makes gardening even more rewarding when your efforts pay off."
