I am having a July wedding and would like to grow most of my own flowers. Any ideas on easy to grow, abundant flowers that will be in full bloom by July 10? Colors are Red, Orange, Yellow, and White

I love my pink calla lilies and they come in a variety of colors. I didn't grow mine from bulbs. Not sure if you are zoned for Yarrow, but you can grow reds that are gorgeous, and yellows also.

I did a wedding with bright colors and used Zinnias....The old fashioned tall ones....the colors are vibrant and beautiful....also easy to cut....I see that you are in a Zone 9 FL...You may want to check with your local extension agent and ask WHAT GROWS BEST IN THOSE COLORS in your area....also mention what you need them for and the date..Here in MI Z6 Jul 10th would be about right,..not sure in your zone, however....Have a GREAT WEDDING!
I love zinnias as well!! Unfortunately ours are ready in August .. usually the later part. Thanks for the advice!
I am experimenting with growing some yellow calla lilies indoors. I bought them last year and they grew an incredible seed pod.. now they're dormant. We'll see how they do. I have had good luck with growing bulbs indoors. We are definitely too cold for them to grow outdoors.
Yarrow sounds like a great idea, and it grows wild here in yellow and white. I could plant some red.. Thanks for the help!

I saw your reply to the suggestion about zinnias. You know, you could start the zinnias ahead of time so that they would be in bloom by July. Also, try cosmos, marigolds, ornamental peppers, yarrow, lantana (the annual kinds), monarda, scarlet runner beans and cypress vines for vertical interest, portulaca and purslane for groundcover, etc. I don't know where you live, so some of these might have to be started early. You might also try 'Knock Out' roses; they bloom constantly and prolifically. Good luck! It will be a beautiful wedding!
Don't know if you've planted yet, but sunflowers are also great in July. I always have some by July 4th.
