I was thinking of trying some sweet peas in the garden. Anyone know which ones are the most fragrant? I have a whole section behind my roses (full morning sun) that I was thinking of planting cottage type flowers there. Any ideas?
Comment by Stacey on December 8, 2011 at 9:50am Carol, I totally relate...I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my gardening!! I love to propagate in all different kinds of vases of water...I have them all over the house starting little babies for spring! I haven't found many plants that you can't start that way! I'm starting an Avocado for the first time ever and am so excited! :)

Comment by Carol Howard/ Louisiana on May 1, 2011 at 6:24am Leilani, you can propagate gardenias by cuttings I have 10 of them started. Just put a cutting in water until it has roots and put in soil and in about 3 months you will have gardenias. I started a cutting last summer and it is already blooming this spring.

Comment by Carol Howard/ Louisiana on May 1, 2011 at 6:10am The most fragrant of all that I have found is a sweet olive tree..I went to garage sales with friends and we went down this one street and the smell in the whole neighborhood was so awsome...I have one started and the smell is so glorous.
