Trying to save money after masses of over budget things happened when building our house, we put down 2 gravel paths along the side of our house. Our bitzer border collie Pippa just loves lying on them in the summer as they are on the shaded part of the house and stay amazingly cold, so two purposes served by our cheap gravel paths!
Plus like Garden Gal and Paula, I too love that crunchy sound when you walk on them.
What are the yellow flowers alongside the path Garden Gal? They look gorgeous.

Permalink Reply by Wendy Hime on November 3, 2011 at 8:56am I live in an area where we have many granite companies. I stop by and they give me whatever scraps I want large and small, usually smooth and pretty, irregular shapes and sizes. Costs me nothing. They can't use it. I will post pics of my 'granite' garden when it is complete.
