Sorry to hear about the sick kitties. I use Revolution for flea control. Two of my cats are prone to vomiting. I keep a clean eye dropper in the fridge. I can squirt water in the side of their mouth if I think they are being stubborn about drinking water. Sometimes after they vomit, I squirt Aloe Vera in their mouth; and sometimes sugar water if one of the girls stops eating and acts lethargic; you can buy herb tinctures to squirt in their mouth for worm control. I think worms are the root of all cat ailment evils though. My cats are 8 years old. They are sweeties.

Garden Gal,

One of my cats has had problems with this. He has a sensitive stomach. He is an older cat. 13yrs. I have to give him some hairball medicine one a week and that keeps him doing pretty good. One time he got really sick because he was garbage picking. ( he gets plenty of food) He had to have an antibiotic and fluids that time. I hope your vet can help you out. With my cat it wasn't the food.

I've used Frontline with good results for both the cats and dogs. Just be careful the first time you use it, as one of my cats had a reaction to it and developed a sore where the drop went. I no longer use any flea treatment on her and luckily the fleas do not seem to like her. We have our lawn sprayed on a monthly basis and I also think that helps alot.

I discovered this week that Simba, my companion cat, has developed hay fever! This very dry summer has produced a huge amount of grass pollen and that meant a £50 visit to his vet.

That is Pokey.  The other one doesn't have a name but thinking out loud maybe I'll call him "Art".
