Yes, Jim, I'll take some of those spring pastels. They're beautiful.

Daddieo – well, no wonder I've never come across one!  Long and hot describes our summers here in SoCal for sure!  Perhaps one day I'll try them out in my cooler, shady part of the garden – their color seems worth the effort!

Daddeio – wow!  I dig the blue and golden yellow in this shot!  Is this a poppy?

Oh, boy, Daylillies and Dahlias!  Two of my favorites.  Can't wait!

Can't stop me. I bought a bag of Oriental hybrid lilies, Daylilies and Dahlias,

John has been planting them. Now that will be fun for him to see-a product of his work.

Nancy – it all sounds very exciting!  I can't wait to see images of all his and your hard work!

John-He cannot wait until the garden is blooming to bring his friends over to see what he has helped with. I couldn't ask for a better garden helper than John. My son and granddaughter help me but it is where they live. To John it is a joy-you are right-there is a lot of work but when that is almost done (and i say almost done) the results are soo rewarding!

Right now he is taming my blackberry patch. It covers 1/4th of my garden. I have 7 trellises that I drape the canes on. We have to cut all the old canes out and then it will almost be done. He got one area done and walked through it-almost prancing with joy with appreciation for what he had accomplished. It really was a lot of work.

Nancy – oh, that is cute . . . letting him 'play' in the garden.  Well, it should feel like play, right?  Of course, some good ol' sweat and a bit of blood along with the play, but play, none-the-less!
