I shouldnt' complain really, although in a strong wind over 40, U have to remove the canopy and it is easy to do as it is velcro on the posts. This has keep some plants for me to replant in the flower beds. Begonias for one. who dont' like it under 40, have really just done great in 35F on the coldest nites. (inside/outside temp. 10.00 at walmart) I have kept them in a seperate small GH inside of this one but they stil get cold. I just need a more sturdy structure and the FREE pallets wil give me that. I will be out maybe 50.00.. I hope less.. lol..
I am going to do a 7x10, 1/2 walled Pallet bolted together, anchoed with metal 6' fence posts 3' buried in concrete blocks.. Do heavy gauge welding wire for the top arched over w/8mil plantic.. 7' w x 10' L or so.. I have seen these and it should be just fine for what I am needing it for.. I just need 10 more pallets and the concrete blocks. I hope to have it done by mid April.. This tent GH, has got to GO!! Before the wind/storms take it.. lol
here's my tiny potting shed...finally...awating spring to be finished and start some nice plantings...can't wait....

Comment by Catherine Cronin (Ireland) on November 1, 2011 at 10:20am Hi everyone! We are officially joining the greenhouse craze. Here are 8 pictures, linked to my Facebook album. Still need to get a fan installed and figure out what to do about heating over the winter. We have A LOT to learn and are excited about this adventure.
