I just got my garden in. I have radishes up but they are always the first to pop up. I might have to replant the lettuce it should be up by now. I glued the seeds on strips of news paper with flower and water to try it and see what would happen. I seen 2 carrots up yesterday so they may make it. I need to go to the greenhouse and see what's happening there. I planted a bunch of different flower seeds and most have popped up so I will have to find places for them.

What makes a Virginia Ham a Virginia Ham, and what is a Black Forest Ham, I believe it's just a name they give it for the way it was smoked and where it comes from. The name implements that it is a good Ham but that depends on the person eating it weather it is good or not. Have wonderful Garden day.

ok What makes the bacon Irish ? Here we get Canadian Bacon which is small round slices of ham . And American Bacon is fat with some meat that shrivels when cooked . So i am currious about what makes Irish bacon . is it the way it is cut , cooked ,spiced ?

Right bed no. 1 filled today. Lots of digging and moving soil and compost. Who needs a gym when you do this kind of heavy lifting. I'm going to be sore tomorrow but happy. Hope I have not overfilled it Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, radish, spinach, beetroots, spring onions and coriander. New%20Raised%20Bed%204.jpg

Silly me , i figured if someone knew how to grow a pig in a garden with out haveing to feed and clean up after it every day . in other words if it could grow like a plant , it may be the people here who would know how to grow it .
