Comment by Randy Anderson zn.5/Il. USA on November 9, 2011 at 5:37pm I just talked to my son and he said there was enough snow at his place to cover the grassy areas in the lawns in Dixon Il.. We had a couple of brief snow showers but they would go right back to rain. The leaves are almost all off the trees and it is starting to look more lie winter. Here is a little of the fall color that we've had in the past week.

You know, the gardens will take care of themselves and most of your plants will tuck themselves in; fun fall activities pass so quickly that it's a shame to wast them, especially when spent with loved ones. The gardens will still be there for you come spring, but enjoy the day today. LOVE your pelicans and eagle (along with the others, of course!!)
