a welcome to Jessica Lyn .
Hi Michele welcome . are you in New York ?
I have not found a place to buy rosemary plant . so congratulations on that ,Daryl . i am sorry i have not been on here more but i am almost out of time on my modem so have to be careful till the 19th .
A garden, planting zones may vary depending on how much light and soil moisture and wind block one has in their own garden. (micro climate). For instance my Rosemary bush that I have grown a few years out in long island. I planted it, in between a ramp blocked by wind near the house where I get southern exposure all day long.

Comment by Amy Waskiweicz (LI, NY, USA, 7a) on October 16, 2011 at 5:03pm Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and just want to introduce myself. I live in Remsenburg now, but spent most of my life on the North Fork of Long Island. I see many comments from people that live in areas that are very known to me.
I perused a career in Horticulture and am currently employed at Emerald Flora. It is a wholesale greenhouse and I am the grower and greenhouse assistant there. I've only been there since March and have learned so much already. My ultimate goal in life would be to open a retail garden center.
Nice to meet you all, and look forward to being in touch ;)
