Wow!  Keep us posted. I was part of a garden tour last summer but on a smaller scale.  It was hosted by the local garden club and local artists.  It was a lot of organizing but a great success!

Lee, welcome. This is the first  activity we've had for quite some time. Now that we're winding down in Northeastern  US , we can talk more.  I am looking forward to taking part in a big fund-raising garden tour next summer. So, plans are running through my head. Pressure's on to be ready.

If anyone here lives in Tioga/Potter Co. Pa...any place close, I have a 3-4 ft. kumquat tree in pot that has been bearing fruit for at least two years, well i do not have anymore room in my house for this and it needs a home! I would hate to see it die. If anyone is interested, if you could bring your own pot that would really help otherwise I would like to at least get the price of the pot which is somewhere around $10.00. Also have 4 dwarf Orinoco banana trees (close to fruiting age) in a pot going CHEAP! If you e-mail me about these, please mention that it's through PA GARDENERS INDEX. Or your e-mail might be missed...I have way to many e-mails every day. Thanks

How's it going, everyone? I'm picking peas and radishes here in Northern VT, and I'm getting the most salad greens I've ever, ever had. Even with the rabbit attack around the 5th that also lopped off my broccoli. :-P

This is my second year at this location, and the spoiled hay I've been using has really helped the soil. That, and better weather than last year, means lots of chard, bok choi, beet greens, and lettuces, especially the "Freckles" variety. We're getting lots of rain, but not TOO much like last year.

Hi Kristin! Not very talkative are we? LOL It's been a early spring here too. Magnolia's are in bloom and lots of daffodils, pulminaria, but tulips are getting ready to pop. we're heading out to Chicago and check out their weather. I hope we don't miss too much while we're gone. Gonna be making a garden for my son. I just dug up some of my plants to bring. Iris, pulminaria, Variegated Solomon's Seal and Feverfew 'Virgo' (that's the button variety). Hmm.Might get some regular FF and some blue lobelia. I'd love to do some hosta but the idea of digging them is making me tired. Easier to buy in Chitown.

Hi, I live in RI and was glad to see a northeast gardening site! Spring is early this year for me. Never saw the trees or bulbs bloom so early in my yard. I usually haven't finished cleaning off the gardens by now - I've already been weeding and have even mowed the lawn!

Top of the Mornin'! I decided to check out other groups and found this one. How about this nice weather we're finally having? I garden near the shores of Lake Champlain--the Banana Belt. Looking forward to good conversations.

Hi..I live on Long Island, New York Zone 6-7...I enjoy gardening and I am always changing the look of my garden from year to year... like an artist on a canvas.... I love annuals, bulbs and a few perennials flowers, i.e., Poppies, Foxgloves, Holly Hocks, Black eye Susans, foregetmenots, etc...I find perennials have to be divided because they can get out of control. My super favorite are herbs....lots and lots of herbs in pots. I can't wait to start this Spring.

I love to see annual popups that return the following year...it is like a gift from Mother Nature.....Usually Snapdragons, foregetmenots, inpatiens, foxgloves, vinca are always popping up in my garden....I love it!!! See you all around soon...

Hi I live in New York City and love to garden. I've had community gardens in Brooklyn, Queens and Harlem. Looking forward to Spring and meeting other NY gardeners on this site
