Odds & Odders

Many gardeners come across or create an image that defies common description. This is our expression of our inner gardeners mind. Sometime the image is suddenly there.

What's the inspiration??

Along with an image, tell us what inspired this effort or what caught your eye to want to capture THAT moment in space and time.

The geese are fantastic in this picture Freddy, are they covered with plants, they look as if they have some kind of texture on them? Wonderful picture~

My husband and I went to Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Nebraska and they had a lookout tower, this picture was taken when my husband was below the on the steps just under the top floor and I took it through the mesh.

Another reflective piece, reminds me how we are a mirror image we reflect outward what is on the inside of us, what's in our heart!

Took this picture while camping and loved the way the water reflected it's surroundings.

Sheri, that's a lot of bugs. Not quite what I would bring home.

While shooting farm scenes, these consecutive shots screamed to tell the story of life on the farm. I couldn't resist putting them together.

Freddy, that is a great image. It's the type of moment that you just have to stop and enjoy.

This is an image from the Los Angeles County Arboretum. I couldn't have posed the peacock in a better place.

The flaring of the sun through this barren network of branches is a sharp reminder of the power of nature. Just for fun I made a reverse image with black rays piercing the branches, together they make quite a contrast.
