Hi Kittie, Do you mulch your beds? Mulching really helps mine. I do very little weeding.

Hi all, sorry I haven't responded sooner, was away for a couple days. I posted a picture of the flower bed I am having problems with. I have no idea what I want in there. And yes, the left side gets sun, the right side doesn't. Help!!

I cleaned out half of my perennial bed last night. I have a problem each year that it starts out well and gets over run by weeds. I can remember my grandmother's beds being weedless and wish I knew how she did it. I try to keep it weeded but at one point I just seem to get overwhelmed. Any one do anything special in that area?

to Lori Blevins: In Columbus & surrounding area I find Oakland Nursery has a nice selecton of flowers/shrubs & trees. They are on Oakland Park Ave and also on Rt 161 just east of Dublin. They also have a variety of seeds. I bought some different glad bulbs there last year that provided some unusual color.

to Rebecca, I've been reading about Marvin's Organic Gardens somewhere else on the website. It sounds great. When we go to Louisville next time I plan to stop there.
