Comment by Robin (N.IL zone 5) on March 19, 2012 at 11:43pm Very pretty orchid Pat. Yes, I agree they do teach us patience. Robin, I can't wait until I see your orchid too!
Comment by Robin (N.IL zone 5) on March 11, 2012 at 3:12pm Oh that is even better. I love it when a plant has a fond memory to go with it.
Happy Anniversary!
Comment by Pat on March 11, 2012 at 1:05pm I'm so excited because this orchid was a gift from the wedding reception of my husbands nephew who got married one month after we did. So it is going to be in bloom for my 1 year anniversary and for theirs. So nice!
Comment by Robin (N.IL zone 5) on March 10, 2012 at 9:42pm Pretty Pat, isn't it exciting when they bloom.
Comment by Pat on March 10, 2012 at 9:28pm My first orchid is blooming. The only thing I have done is keep it next to a NW window and water with 3 ice cubes every Sat.
