Entertaining anyone?

This is a great example of a large paver patio and screenings we installed. It doesn't show the total size, but can you see the couches in the back ground?

I spend a lot of my time relaxing and enjoying my patio; listening to the waterfall trickle in the pond as I'm working in the beds or soaking in the hot tub. Ahh...;)

In the photo below my husband and I love to drink iced tea, to help cool off from the heat of the summer!

I love my patio. I spend alot of time out there, and sometimes take naps. I have Gardenias, Night Blooming Jasmine, Oleanders, Chinese Bell Flower, Trumpet Flower Vine, Confederate Jasmine, Butterfly Bushes, Elephant Ears, Perennials & Annuals surrounding my patio. It's a very peaceful and serene space, and the fragrance from my Gardenias and Jasmine is heaven.

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone else in the group is currently adding a new patio or landscape wall to their garden? My husband and I started a new project two weeks ago and we're very excited about it! The block for the wall is about half way used up, and this Saturday the delivery of our paver bricks is coming. I'll post pictures later (I'm at work right now!)

I love patio living. For us living up north, the "sun therapy" that patio living provides becomes so important. In my case its not actually a formal patio, but rather a designated space in the yard, that is our outdoor living space. I have currently a patio table & chairs, a loung chair, benches & end tables, an outdoor cabinet & a barbeque. Its my goal to build permanent structures as I determine the ideal location of each element. The nice thing is my husband is a sculptor so I'm able to have custom barbeque spits & other ironwork created to fit my outdoor living room & kitchen needs.

I "live" out on my patio, when I'm not actually in my condo. My patio is large enough for a spa, table/umbrella, and sitting area. I enjoy container gardens, focussing on succulents and cactus. Surrounding the perimeter fences I have transplanted lilies inherited from my grandfather's garden. When the spa is not "in use" a fountain feature is the focal point (I built the feature myself and it can be removed when we choose to use the spa. Will post photos soon...

Hi, I am a Patio, Porch or Veranda person. If I'm not busy I like to sit out side and relax.
