Hello Donna,  I started this group but I am not on much anymore.  I do try to answer when I get an email notice.  Anyone can start up a conversation and you will most alway get an answer from someone.

Not sure if you know everyone in Creekside but I am a decendent of the Bothell family.  My grandmother and mother also lived in Ernest and then moved to Indiana.  I spent many summers on the farm in creekside and still return every summer for our family reunions.  The bothells who are still there raise cows now, but it use to be a working farm until the goverment started to regulate farming.  If you ever have a question, feel free to post it....I will get back to you....also if you add you zone and state beside your name others will have an idea where you are from.  Mine is z5/6 PA.  Have fun on all there other groups.

Hi Janice I was born and raised in your area. I went to High School in Connellsville and lived in the MT.s a place called White. I no longer live there now and I hope you are able to get your raised beds in some how for it would be good for you and not as much hard work as in the ground. You have a great day.

Tracey I spend way to much time on there also...but what do you do when you don't drive alone, and only do work when someone is around to help or pick me up...I am hoping that by Spring I am able to get my hubby to help with the garden. Thanks for the thought. There are special people out there who make my day. Hope you don't get the snow coming up from the south. Looks like we might get it from south and west...I will be at home,,,,looking out the window.

Janice, I was on facebook, but found I was spending more time on the computer than I like to, so deactivated in the fall. If I was closer to you I'd come and help you put those raised beds in.

Was not familiar with this but will refer to it.  Living in the Pittsburgh area...the weather can change quickly.  Depends on which way the storms approach from.  Don't want any snow coming from the south east.

Happy New Year to you Tracey.  I am on facebook - I followed a few of my friends from here.  Not able to do as much as I would like since my stroke in 2009.  Need to get a raised garden built for me this spring.
