I hope the Chinooks blow this far south. We get most of our weather out of the south west here, When I lived in Mn. we got some wonderful Chinook winds. They were greatly appreciated. It's still -7 C here but it is suppose to warm up next week. Blacky doesn't even want to go out. They didn't mind when I shut the pet door on them so now they have to ask to go out.
At 22 degrees F, it's a . . . one dog night. Thank goodness, 'cause I only have one dog! When those "Three Dog Nights" come along here on the urban prairie, we just get our two cats up there on the bed with us and Brie and it's cool. Er . . . warm!
Chinook coming through, Randy as of tonight sometime. It looks like snow is on the melt, yea!
Had a wonderful trip down to my Dads in Northern Arkansas this week. i took the dogs which haven't been on a long road trip in over a year. They did fairly well except Bear who wanted to be done riding almost every hour stopping for potty breaks almost as soon as we got started. I'd swear if he was a kids he was asking are we there yet. The trip back was a lot better, with only three breaks in 9 hrs. It's a little warmer here Nancy with the temp about -7 degree C. Hope all is well on the Prairie.
Sherri, never been ther except with mother when we were taking shortcut to my half brother's wedding in Ottawa, Ontario. I get that asked here too and people seem to think I have relatives here, not. My relatives are in the East and in the West in Canada, not in Prairies where I am.
Thanks, ladies! I'm glad I found this website.
Hey, Nancy, I just thought I'd share with you that I have a second cousin I haven't seen in years named Nancy Jenkins! Are you by any chance from Missouri? There are about a million Jenkins in SE Missouri, though.
Well, glad to meet everyone!!
Your dog is so sweet, They will become Best friends for life it looks like
Aaw, Sherri. They look really happy together.
That is a wonderful picture, SherrI. I think your new kitty found a good home.
So sweet and comforting Sherri. With this bitter cold I kept parrots mostly covered except for front of their cages. I bought some oranges to share with two of three parrots, Missi my old dog and my hedgehog and of course me.
Missi is learning to come quick after doing her outside stuff on these bitter cold days been having, even got some inside barking from her. Loves her kong and biscuit inside.
Washed my bedding, then washed Missi's bedding. Always gives a better sleep with fresh beddings done.
