Exhausted from paper route today. Had to stuff papers with item that machines could not get through. I did see the little hawks defending nest from crow. I could almost imagine what crow was saying ow! when hawks sunk talons in. No photographs.

Kay I love the sunflower, I will probably have the wild seed later.

Sunflowers in my yard growing from bird seed that was not eaten. :)

Wow, like the moth. When lived in Eastern Canada I think that is the last I saw of this moth. I don't think I saw on West Coast on Vancouver Island. Would be interesting moth to sketch.

There pretty good Mary and educational as well! Some of the new point and shot cameras are fantastic. They make it so much easier to take pictures, I'm almost tempted to get one. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us.

I wasn't very good with closeups then (and now!) so it's a little blurry. Here's another one-slightly different angle.

I took these in August of '07, using a Canon Powershot A510.
