Apple Blossoms are one of Spings best beauty.

This is my favorite time of the year. Bluebonnets and Indian Paint Brushes

Here is my Orange Blossom from a couple days ago. The aroma is incredible!

The only thing I have not heard of was the sour orange, but I love Key lime Pie, so if it's anything like that, Im sure I would enjoy that too.

Boy, growing up in Florida I can smell this flower now...we had quite a few orange trees, tangerine, and a huge grapefruit tree, comquats, and a sour orange tree that my Mother made a delicous pie from. Too sour to eat by itself. The pie was like a key lime pie. Ever heard of it??
That's our State Flower!

This is Spring time in my neighborhood, Live Oaks and azaleas. I really look forward to it.
Tulips and Iris's are ready to burst open - hostas, day-lilies, and Black-eyed Susans are coming along nicely. Shrubs took a beating from the 30+ inches of snow we had in February.

Tulips from Spring 2009.
Beautiful shot!
