Bonnie there is free software you can download to do it.  Go to www.paint.net   if you can play in photoshop then this will be a breeze for you. :)

Good luck

Nancy if you want to email me the picture and the shape and dimensions of your locket, I'd be happy to do it for you. Just let me know.

Wow Nancy .. I live in a zone where we don't get frosty window but that is neat! I'm thinking that if use the flash you might get clearer pictures .. it looks like the camera doesn't know what to focus on.

Bonnie, Kathleens idea sounds like a good one if you have Word. Pretty much all Word processing programs have "draw" features that allow you to make shapes.

Nancy--I like your "frost art" pictures. Taking pictures makes us aware of the art all around us!

Bonnie--I would probably just use Microsoft Word (or some kind of word-processing program) and draw a "text box" the size I wanted the picture to be. Then insert to picture. It should work.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that will shrink down pictures to fit into a locket? I had a nice hp program but lost it.  Can anyone help me?

I took some pictures of Lichen the other day. These were on a tree in my garden. The gold Lichen appears to be a smaller plant then blue gray. They're both cropped the same amount. I did enhance the pic so the plants could be seen better.
