Poor Country Boy Gardening

Poor country boy gardening is when you want or need something for your garden and can't afford it. So you get creative on how to get it trading or bartering for it. digging it up out of an empty field or off the side of the road or a neighbors yard.

I find them adorable, and if they visit your yard you must be keeping it to there liking's!

If they are anything like squirrels you don't want them they dig up and eat your bulbs, they plant walnut trees then dig up the nuts later. They potty every where, build their nests & chew on the bark of trees like mice I would assume.

Susan, some people don't like them in the yard. But I love seeing them, I was so excited when i finally saw one running around the front yard. For me I figure I'm doing something right out there that the wildlife is visiting. Just wiki them and see what their benefits are.

I saw stock seeds at Fred Meyer from Burpee and Ed Hume. I'm off to Walmart now at 9:30 at night to look for red kale and what ever else I can find that I can't live without.

Fuschia another of my favorites my dad had these all over his deck when I was a kid and still dose today so far as I know they are very sensitive like an and in the impatient family.  these are in the wall planters I made yesterday.  way to cool and irresistible to not try.
