Yes Lyn it was a very beautiful place. You used the word setting and this place had various sitting places throughout the gardens to sit and converse with others. Awesome place beautiful gardens.

John ~ Longwood Gardens is in Kennett Square PA. Northwest of Philadelphia. Very beautiful any time of the year.

I saw somebody today that told me that Longwood Gardens planted several acres of sunflowers! I missed it. But what a beauty it must have been, especialy from the sky.

This is in Lithia Park, Ashland, OR.  This particular rhododendron was planted in 1901.  I would guess it's about 15 ft. tall.  There are many like it all over the park and all in full bloom just last week.
