Comment by Sharon Howell z7NC on February 23, 2012 at 6:58am Cindy, how cute is that!!! I think even I could handle that.
Like Vicky said, would make a cute plant hanger.
Thank you so much for searching and sharing your ideas with us
It would look cute inside with a plant hanging out of it like string of pearls it think it is called or strawberry begonia. It is blue and we love blue. If it was red or green it almost looks like an apple core.
That thing wouldn't last long around here with all the high winds. We've had 50ish mph winds for a few days now.
@Cynthia - where's the "like" button? :)
Birdie are you thinking of iris moss?
Comment by Beth Knight on February 22, 2012 at 10:55am Birdie I planted some of the steppables but they didn't last long...I think it was too sunny for them...however there was some kind of wild grassy plant that came up between my brick that comes back every year...have no idea what it is called, something native to our area. You should be able to find something that works.
Comment by Birdie Bauer on February 22, 2012 at 10:51am @Beth, I am gonna try stepables, a moss of sorts that look like mini ferns. Don't know name. Will post when planted! Thanks Beth and happy gardening!
Comment by Beth Knight on February 22, 2012 at 10:45am love your walkway Birdie...I can just see it now with the grass in between. They have that steppable moss and plants at our local gardening center that would do well too.
Comment by Birdie Bauer on February 22, 2012 at 10:40am Laid these yesterday, still a bit muddy. Used old brick, natural stone and old slabs of concrete to make. A lot of work but will be worth it. Gonna add moss in between after I get home from Hawaii!
