Repurposed baby crib 3 Replies

A friend gave me this crib when I was pregnant. It was the kind that drops down in the front and is unsafe to use, it also was missing a lot of bolts & we couldn't even figure out how it goes…Continue

Improve your bird feeders. 3 Replies

Why do they make bird feeders that rush the birds away?  My husband has helped me this winter to make the bird feeders better.  I don't get out and about as often as I would like to so I wanted to…Continue

Nice place to sit especially while building a home!

cynthia I have spray painted cinder blocks to sit flowers on.  I even stenciled some fern on a dark blue one I did and it was so pretty.  You could do this with them and spray paint designs..of course a little mosaic on the sides would look good too.

Oh, by the way - to get a better look at it, double click the photo and it pops up a bit larger. It was a county fair display I did with a friend and she wanted to cram it full of Nautical things. You can see the wheels and legs of the Weber in the larger version.

That Weber had the normal Legs & Wheels but we spray painted them green or blue for a Seaside look.

Vicky and Cid, I see it does have the wheels but I can't see it really well, the legs must be really cut off short or?

Kay I would like this group to have a section above in the discussion area to have (each) all of our ideas and maybe directions on achieving the end product...as that way we don't have to go way back into the history of the comment wall!!

Jan click on the pic it still has it's legs and wheels.

Cid< thanks for the idea for my Fabric swatches.  I want to ask now that I saw the re-cycled Weber, what do you have under it to hold it up off the deck?
