Improve your bird feeders. 3 Replies

Why do they make bird feeders that rush the birds away?  My husband has helped me this winter to make the bird feeders better.  I don't get out and about as often as I would like to so I wanted to…Continue

I got the metal tiki torch holders back onto my trellises and put them up for the peas to grow up in front of the garage. Now I need to find the chains that I hold them still w/hooks from the eves. I know I put them right where I could find them at the end of the season, yea sure. grrrrrrrr! I need to start down sizing all the junk I drag in to make things out of. My driveway and garage of shame are driving me crazy. I helped a mom/daughter move to asst. living and dragged a bunch of their lifetime of collections home for me to use. Should have learned from their mistakes.................

Vicky, I am going to let these grow up there. Last year I had some in hanging baskets and they were grand!

My water jug peas that sprouted too soon in the house got eaten by some kind of bug but my peas outside are doing well they are up already. I need to get my buns out there and plant more seeds of cole crops. Are you going to transplant those to ground or let them grow there? My little guys in the house were already blooming when the bugs got them. They were a short version that supposedly sends tendrills out to hold each other up. They weren't snow peas tho just reg peas.
