The debate is still ongoing on how safe tires are for growing food in.
Comment by Joey Krueth on October 6, 2012 at 7:35am Been checking a few sites out around gs & love the idea (use) for tires as garden beds. Don't have any on hand so guess our next trip to the dump I'll be looking for a few:) Hubby keeps telling me I'm nuts for all the ideas I come up with for re-using stuff-ha, he hasn't visited this gs site!
Comment by Joey Krueth on October 6, 2012 at 7:32am I got 6 old chairs from a friend, used them to make benches, using planed slab lumber (one of my favorites) to make backs & seat, will try to get pics. They are really fun to place along our paths through the woods that connect us up to neighbors-we often meet in the middle & sit for chats:)
Comment by Joey Krueth on October 6, 2012 at 7:28am well yee haw, my pic was a featured photo! Not sure how I got them in or how to post them to this site in here... I hope you all got to see it (of our pagoda), how we used our old satalite dish. We've wrapped tarps around it for winter so we can store our garden deco inside. Because it is made of mesh, I'm excited for spring so I can hang flower baskets & humming bird feeders under it.
