Harry a ringlockgun is a tool that bends a metal piece( like a short nail into a ring, so you can put two chickenwire rings and lock them together, once I find it again and have finally a digital camera I will upload it , sorry cant help now!bought it at a hardwarestore, they use it on farms!

Hi I have a question do you use used motoroil or new one, does anyone have the website address for the wingend weeder?, one of the tools I swear of is a ringlockgun, if you have two panels of chicken wire you can make one of it, or make a circle , or a bird cage so many uses wasn,t cheap appx 70 aud yrs ago but I wouldn,t want to be without it, I also have in my sight a sygh the tool to cut grass without noise and with a razorsharp blade! or the smaller version called a sichel!, very useful, not cheap but a treasure to own.....

Hey to my fellow gardeners. I have mentioned this tool before but I will again because I just ordered 2 and they have been total revamped. I watch Martha and she said at one time that this was her favorite tool. I had 2 and lost one. The handle was wood and it was hard to find in my garden.Maybe it is still out there and I will eventually find it.

The tool is called the "Winged Weeder Jr." and it can be found on the net. The new one has an ergonomic handle and is coated in a bright yellow covering. Much easier to see. The head has also been re-designed. It also comes in a long handled one. That is just called "Winged Weeder"

I have sidewalks that get weeds growing in the cracks. I was just painting and I had some things from that job in my garden tote. One of them was a paint scraper. it has a sharp point and a dull one. It is excellent for pulling out those pesky weeds and dirt that had accumulated there.

Nope-that is why I wear mt very used shoes, If I am on the ground and move around my feet are protected. Think your tennies are probably the answer.

The ones that I have sen do not have a strap at the back but there is a lip at the heel so that your foot doesn't slip out. I do not use them because I have a wide foot and have had bunion surgery so not good for me. i wear very expensive orthopedic shoes. I have 2 pair and one I wear in the garden. The leather is soo worn out that the underside shows. I do wear socks and i do not get dirt in my shoes, Keep them at the back door and have slip ons that i wear in the house. Yes, they do make them in men's sizes.

yes, there are shoes like crocs w/o holes that are just as comfy...............so if you do not want dirt between your toes, well that is the ticket.
