However I am SURE i will have many JEALOUS moments when the gardeners from south Florida and Austrailia and Hawaii start showing us their wonderful pics! Do You want us to post pics in here or just leave them on our individual pages?

Thanks Joseph!  I love your banana plant & hibiscus.  Do you move the tropicals inside during the winter?  I can't imagine they would survive a NE winter.  :  )

Hi All!  I live in South Florida and have been working on my tropical garden for 11 years.  This photo was taken yesterday, and I've uploaded several more on my garden page.  Everything is blooming, love seeing the fruits of my labor.  Enjoy!

I know this is a long shot but really need the help!
If anyone here lives in Tioga/Potter Co. Pa...any place close, I have a 3-4 ft. kumquat tree in pot that has been bearing fruit for at least two years, well i do not have anymore room in my house for this and it needs a home! I would hate to see it die. If anyone is interested, if you could bring your own pot that would really help otherwise I would like to at least get the price of the pot which is somewhere around $10.00. Also have 4 dwarf Orinoco banana trees (close to fruiting age) in a pot going CHEAP! If you e-mail me about these, please mention that it's through PA GARDENERS INDEX. Or your e-mail might be missed...I have way to many e-mails every day. Thanks

Does anyone have a software program they like to use when drawing up a landscape design? I'm looking for something that costs $50 or less to help me plan the occasional landscape for friends and family.

Susie and others - Thx for the advice. I ended up planting a bird-of-paradise (orange flowering), green island ficus, Hawaiian Ti Red Sisters, 1 tricolored hibiscus with red flowers, and 2 foxtail ferns

. Fillers include red, purple, & white impatiens, and yellow lantana.

I also planted confederate jasmine on the chain link gate along with some Red sisters and foxtail ferns.
