I have probably at least 3 large pickling cukes and I'm wondering if anyone knows how long they would stay fresh after I pick them. I want to make pickles but don't have enough for the recipe. I'm not sure if I should pick the ones I have now or wait for more to grow. luci

Luci-Ann, They will stay fresh for several days if you pick them, put them in a Green Bag and refrigerate them. If you leave them on the vine they will over ripen and become bitter.
Yes I agree....I've been picking and putting cukes in a GreenBag until I have enough to pickle. They have been fine after 10 days even.
