Here's the Hyacinth Bean Vine flowers, will post the purple seeds pods next.  They're beautiful and grow about 8ft.  Leaves are dark purple at first and then turn green.

Hi everyone,

Great new updates and pics!  I've been away on vacation for awhile so am catching up.  It's so fun to see all of the action in our group!  Great pics of those morning glories, Cindy, I love them!  They seem to really like that rocking chair trellis.  Neat!  I love all of your other vine updates Barbara, Joan and everyone.  I'm pleased to report my mile a minute vines are growing and blooming like crazy now, yay.  I'm bummed to report that as I expected, I got my canary creeper vine seed in too late and it's already too hot for it.  It's looking very tired, poor little things, LOL.  My climbing nasturtiums are still alive, but flagging.  I'm just letting them ripen seed before I rip them out so that there will be plenty of seed to sprout this autumn for blooms all winter and spring.  For now though, they're a mess, LOL.

Joan, your one no-ID big-leaf plant in a hanging pot is a hollyhock, and a darn nice one at that.  I'm sure someone already replied with the ID, but I didn't see it so I thought Id' just mention it.  Your other pot with the true vines sure looks like sweet peas to me.  Oh, and I LOVE all of the four o'clock pics too.  Mine are just waking up from "winter" and others are sprouting from seed, so hopefully I'll have blooms soon too.  They're always a favorite of mine too.

I spent a fair bit of time this morning with some hot coffee, helping guide some errant stems on my mile a minute vine, to help keep it on its arbor.  Fun, easy, quite work!  Happy vining everyone!

Take care,

Grant

Your 4 O'clocks look good, Cindy!  Did you know that you can also cut them back?  When mine get too tall & hang over everything else, I just cut back & they do fine.  They come back looking even better.
