Here's the Hyacinth Bean Vine flowers, will post the purple seeds pods next.  They're beautiful and grow about 8ft.  Leaves are dark purple at first and then turn green.

I found the chocolate vine on Gurneys.  I purchased both varieties since I am curious about the fruit they produce.  The description said zone 5 hardy, sure hope so.  The flowers are quite pretty, one is all dark violet and the other is violet and white.  I don't know if the hummers will see them and come, or even if the flowers are a type the hummers like.  I do know that bees will definitely love them, hopefully butterflies will too.  I also occasionally get hummingbird moths. They are quite interesting.  I actually thought it was a extremely tiny hummer the first time I saw one.  Oh, the name chocolate vine is because the blossoms smell like chocolate.  I can hardly wait.

I've tried all the well known nurseries and garden suppliers looking for chocolate vine.  They're all sold out. Does anyone know of a supplier that is more obscure and may carry chocolate vine?  I want to attract migrating hummingbirds, but my support will not handle trumpet vine.  It's sturdy enough, but not that sturdy.

Chasing Rainbows

"One of my very favorites, the photos can't do this flower justice. The interior is amazing. I am moving a piece to a better location this year so it will hopefully be multiplied like my Toucan Tango, Divine & Best Bets have done!"

"Well it did rain here while I was gone yesterday and today. So didn't have to worry about watering. Thurs morning we went to get an estimate on a flow meter for irrigation so neighbor would sign off so we can have water/with pressure this year.…"
