They have a construction project on hold in Oquawka, IL. now because of tree frogs.

Wonderful pictures Robin! The other day I looked at one of the wren houses in the garden saw these two eyes looking out of the hole in the house.Gray Tree FrogI have been seeing more Great Blue Herons as I've been driving. This one was in a Henderson County drainage ditch.I saw this Turkey Vulture perched on top of a Barn. There here a little earlier then normal but then the Eagles left a little earlier then normal too.

Was at a friends to day and put out some bird seed the blue jay and the cardinal came to visit. The Robin was hunting on the lawn.

Thank you for that lovely picture of the Sand Hill Crane.  If I ever saw one in the wild, I would be so thrilled.  that limpkin is so well  protected by its coloring.  Love all the pictures.  We have been in NJ and VA for the past week, but didn't see any interesting birds.  Just seagulls at LIberty Park near the Statue of Liberty.

Wonderful picture, Beth. Gail had posted a picture of one walking the streets in Florida on another site. I really enjoyed seeing all the wildlife from around the country and world. One of my fav. things about the internet!

forgot this gorgeous photo of a sand hill crane.  These are the native sandhills that stay year round in Florida.  they are all getting ready to nest.  THere are quite a few in my sisters and brother's area...lots of ponds and grass land.
