I hear you. i can not get over our weather . one minute winter next spring . i did not get to get out back and cover my new cherry trees so i hope they survive . As we have not had enough snow to protect them . but the ground has not compleatly frozen eaither .

I have heard of the blitz impatiens, they are all over the web. a friend had some last year, lovely! the trees and shrubs sound delightful!!! we may add onto our house this year, 6 clematis, 4 shurbs, 25 day lillies, and otherh assorted perennials will have to be moved, I am aching already!

Hi Mary Happy New Year to you as well . Yes i have recieved catalogs . and i have been haveing have to haves for the last few years . Last year i got my snowball bushes or i should say my husbands . i put in red miniature roses . and cherry trees . i have to redo my morning glories and moon flowers , and my 4 0 clocks . and some one said something about blitz impatients . i have never heard or seen them i would do an online search for them . and i hope someone lets me know if they find them i would like to see a picture of them .

First, Happy New year! Second, some of my trees are trying to bud with the warm weather! Third, I am in catalog/dream heaven--anyone see something in a catalog that we just gotta have?

Kathryn have you tried planting Marigolds around it . or the blackberries ? Deer do not like it . I did not know if you knew this or not .

My elderberry is back, and instead of moving it, I've put a fence around it. I suspect the deer will ignore it after it's a certain size. The blackberry they ate didn't come back at all.
