absolutely worth the gas money, but like all auctions, you need to decide your 'price' and stick to your guns! it is like going to the plant auction in the netherlands: you buy a shelf (which may be flats or containers) or the entire 4 shelf rack....we take a 1 ton truck, 14 ft trailer, with floor to ceiling racks!!! Last year, a amish gentle man asked me what nursery we were buying for, it was shocked when I said NO nursery, just my garden! gotta smile

So you went from Minnesota to Iowa to get what you bid on . Now was it worth the gas money to go and get ?

got them all in the ground, in a new bed, now I have 20 flats of annuals, hanging containers, and other stuff! bought a trailer load at a recent auction in Iowa, fun!

I bought 3 new reblooming daylillies, huchera autumn leaves, and hackenloa grass nicholas! all in the groud, and so happy!
