Oh wow! I love that red crape. The color is awesome. I have a purple butterfly bush. Cant wait to use my new camera to capture pictures this year. Most of the crape 's are either white or the pink around here. The redbud tree's and forsynthia bushes are what will start blooming first around here.  Is that red flower Beesbalm?

Cindy, the crapes are a light pink, but I  also have white&red! I have three in front of the house! these will grow to 20 feet. So i'm going to shape them into little trees! The others in the yard are schrubs ,but prune(6 feet)

I purchased a standard Rose of sharon . Coming this spring! Can't wait!

I had a Butterfly bush that grow to big , Ihad to remove it<but I purchased a smaller one blue chip! Did well last summer!

I love crepe Myrtle's. I think I am going to plant some this year. I planted a couple of Rose of Sharon about 3 years ago and they have really took off.  Did a buttlerfly bush the year before and it has done very well last year. That reminds me I need to check it. What color are your Myrtles?

Cindy, I here ya! I had to trim my Crape myrtle's. They were forming bud already! Crapes are usually the last to leave out here! i trimed the roses too!
