Comment by Bonnie Hannum ~ Missouri, USA on August 21, 2011 at 3:01am I'm jumping in line for LOVING your trellis box tepee design! We have lots of cedar here in MO, and they are very prolific; so I think they're going to be the perfect candidate for yet another project.... heehee....
I have always grown my cukes and zucs on a curved fencing trellis they could grow up through, but I really like this idea! They may be sprouting in our garden next year!

Showed this to hubby - you know hinting, but his skills lie in being a bricklayer and not a carpenter (yet his father was a carpenter!))
I have been using bamboo teepees for my climbers but would dearly love something a bit more stable and longer lasting, as the bamboo does tend to snap with age.
