Hello Lorraine! I would recommend you just buy a Phytopod-3 Hydro  ( or several Phytopod-x Hydros) and set them up in the tub. You can see them at http://www.verticalhomegardens.com. You can also call me at 510-833-4755

That's very interesting! I have often considered turning our hot tub into an aquaponics system with fish in it & a greenhouse roof. I know one hot tub that is buried for a fish pond.
