Prettiest Rhododendron. Bark looks like Manzanita with it's red bark. They remind me of my Grandma.

Looks like a Rhododendron to me.  In Oregon they have many like this and wild ones where you walk on trails between them to get to remote lakes or ocean beaches, etc.

"Thank you, Keryn. Our street (and the whole town) does have lots of lovely big old tall trees. Our commute to and from NYC to work is about 90 minutes each way, but it's a price we are willing to pay to live here."
