Bob, I just went to their website (which is a wonderful website - lots of pictures) http://boktowergardens.org/.  Anyway, if I ever go to Florida, I AM DEFINITELY GOING THERE!!!!!

Hi Nina!  Yes I have.  A friend is also developing a tillandsia tree whereby he attaches plants around the tree using fishing line.

WOW Bob, this picture is incredible.  Have you gotten to see this "in person" at Florida's Bok Tower Botanical Garden's?  This would be so awesome to see.  Simply amazing.
