Oh yeah, and wanted 4 (at least 3) season &/or wildlife appeal also...
That's all. ;-)

I probably should have listed all my annoying 'requirements', but then nobody would have even responded I'm sure. :-) I still think it's fun either way.
Some of these requirements are: there is a LOT of wind...people who live in similar rural areas know what I mean. The wind picks up and goes unobstructed for miles. The house does not sit in a specific direction (N,S,E,W), it sits at an angle so each side gets different situations. The area is shaded by the woods across the street in the morning, but then turns to full sun, with the more northern side (to the right in pictures) turning to shade while the other side remains in full sun, and usually receiving much more wind (westerly, and funneling around the house to build up even worse right at the corner).
Of course then I already mentioned from the road I want it to look symmetrical.
And the last fun aspect that I have been thinking of & working with the entire time is the fact that my mom is in a wheelchair, and I'd like to be able to have her out but in the yard (was a gardener...), so I'm trying to make this area handicap accessible (hence the concrete walk & patio, there will be a concrete walk as well leading to the patio). My m-i-l has no knee caps (pre-knee replacement surgery...she did great for decades, but now has problems...cortisone shots...), I really would not be surprised if she is in a wheelchair some time as well...
I also wanted some shade on the front of the house, blah, blah, blah...
Picky, picky! :-)
