If you get them in good shade they should be fine if you want to give them a try Myan.  bletilla striata would be better in your climate than mine here in zone 7.  They are hardy only to 20 degrees and will survive 10 degree winter temperatures if mulched well.

I will be looking for the pictures I just love these flowers I have not tried to grow them outdoors only in the house didn't know if they could stand the heat here in SC.

Glad you like it Myan, I have missed it's bloom this year because I have not been around when they have been open.  I think to try to get a good picture this weekend if I can catch one out!

Thanks Jan, reliable too, the stalk dies after blooming and frost but comes back strong the next year from rhizomes under the surface.
